Tuesday March 28

Due to a weather prediction of rain and thunderstorms in the Blue Mtns, we stayed close by.  (Slept in...we must have been tired.) We decided to do our ferry trip over to Manly. Before heading to the Quay, we stopped in at St Andrew's and found out about last night's bells. The bell choir practices on Monday nights. How about that

We walked down George Street, which is a main business corridor.

We hopped on the ferry and 30 minutes later were in Manly. We found a coffee shop and then headed out for a walk/ hike.

First stop Manly beach followed by Shelly Beach.

Then we got adventuresome.  The map had a "trail" that would take us over a viewing point and back to Manly. We experienced a variety of " trails", but did make it back to the wharf at Manly for a late lunch. (5.25 miles) The pictures show the variety of terrain and trails on our adventure.

We took the ferry back. It had started to rain, so we used the metro to get dinner at a German pub.

The picture below belongs in the series of trail pictures. But I can't seem to get the blog to cooperative.
